Meet Mark
Mark Schlipman is Founder & CEO of Schlipman Wealth Advisors. Schlipman Wealth Advisors is a strategic partner with Carson Partners, whose advisors service approximately $12 billion in assets under management for families, endowments, trusts and foundations.
Mark is a graduate of the University of Kansas and has continued his education at the American College and University of Phoenix, taking courses in Business Continuation, Portfolio Investment Strategies and Financial & Estate Planning.
Mark’s professional affiliations and memberships include past President of the West Central Illinois Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. As an adjunct faculty member of John Wood Community College, Mark teaches a course in financial planning, strategic investment strategies and Social Security retirement options. Mark holds the Series 7, 26, 63, and 6 through Cetera Advisor Networks.
Mark is featured on AM 930 Radio Monday’s at 8am for the “Mary & Mark Show”. Mark is a past board member of the Quincy Noon Kiwanis, past President of the Quincy Museum, a past board member of the American Red Cross and a current board member of The Advocacy Network for Children / CASA.
Mark’s charitable interests are focused on the annual St. Jude Hospital run to Peoria. Mark was the 2012 and 2014 chair of the St. Jude run, raising over $210,000 locally to benefit St. Jude Hospital.
Mark and his wife, Tricia, reside in Quincy, IL and have two wonderful children and a dog, Bentley. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, swimming, boating, vacationing and cheering on the University of Kansas Jayhawks men’s basketball team.
