Mark is a graduate of the University of Kansas and has continued his education at the American College and University of Phoenix, taking courses in Business Continuation, Portfolio Investment Strategies, and Financial & Estate Planning.
Mark’s professional affiliations and memberships include being the past President of the West Central Illinois Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. As an adjunct John Wood Community College faculty member, Mark teaches a course in financial planning, strategic investment strategies, and Social Security retirement options.
In the past, Mark was featured on WTAD Radio, Mondays at 8 am for the “Mary & Mark Show”. Mark is a past board member of the Quincy Noon Kiwanis, a past President of the Quincy Museum, a past board member of the American Red Cross, and a current board member of The Advocacy Network for Children / CASA.
Mark’s charitable interests focus on St. Jude, Moving Works, KU Williams Foundation, and local high school programs.
Mark and his wife, Tricia, reside in Quincy, IL, and have two wonderful children and a dog, Zeus. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, swimming, boating, vacationing, and cheering on the University of Kansas Jayhawks men’s basketball team.
