Why I Became a Financial Advisor

For as long as I can remember, whenever someone asked how my grandpa was doing, he’d smile and say, “Super fine, getting better every day.”

As a kid, I didn’t think much of it. But over time, that simple phrase became a powerful mindset I’ve chosen to live by—both personally and professionally.

That perspective helped carry me through my years as a competitive college soccer player at Quincy University, where I learned the value of discipline, resilience, and teamwork. It also shaped my experience as a young entrepreneur, where I ran a small business while juggling academics and athletics. That time taught me firsthand the importance of service, trust, and showing up for people consistently.

While completing my degree in Business Management, I discovered a passion for personal finance and how meaningful it can be in people’s lives. I realized that helping others pursue financial clarity, confidence, and freedom was more than a career path—it was a calling.

That’s why I chose to become a financial advisor with Schlipman Wealth Advisors. Here, I can give clients honest, personalized advice that’s always in their best interest. Every day I get to help people make progress toward their goals—step by step—and hopefully help them feel a little more “super fine, getting better every day.”
