Hello, and welcome to Schlipman Wealth Advisors. This post is going to be the first post in a series we are producing. It is centered on one thing – Financial Planning -and the reasons we always create a plan for clients. During the course of the series, we will discuss the financial planning process to help show how and why we help our clients make some of their most important life decisions.
Often times we are asked by our clients and other people in our community: What do you do? The answer: we help people make tough decisions about their finances and their lives and help them navigate life’s trade-off decisions.
The first step in the process is to identify what each client wants, and more importantly what they need. If a client wants to fund their grandchildren’s education, then we will spend time working with them to prioritize their resources to accomplish that goal.
In our first meetings with clients we take the time to listen to them and understand what they want to accomplish in their lives. We understand what they need help with and then we work together to craft a plan that is uniquely theirs.
Once we understand our client’s financial situation, we begin to work as a team to create their plan. This involves our team of CFP® professionals and CPA professionals to analyze and then develop the best path forward for their situation.
We’ve helped clients juggle student loan payments, establish their 401(k) at their new job and even buy their first house. We have also helped a small-business owner maximize their time by providing solutions to financial issues and questions.
